Applications are now open for Thailand’s 19th SANDEE Summer School 2025, a fully funded program hosted by the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand. The summer school will take place from April 30 to May 15, 2025, lasting 16 days. Participants are expected to arrive on April 29 and depart on May 16, 2025.
This program is designed for Master’s students, PhD candidates, and junior or mid-career faculty researchers interested in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics Research. It covers key topics such as economic development, poverty, biodiversity, and energy. There is no application fee, and IELTS is not required.

Financial Coverage

Eligibility Criteria
- Open to applicants residing and working in the HKH/South Asia region.
- Candidates must hold at least a Master’s degree with work experience or be PhD candidates.
- The HKH region includes the Hindu Kush Himalaya countries: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
- Applicants outside the HKH/South Asia region or those from the region but residing elsewhere are not eligible.
