The Rotary Peace Fellowship Program 2026/27 is now open for applications!

This prestigious, fully funded opportunity provides individuals worldwide the chance to pursue a Master’s degree or a Professional Development Certificate in peace and development studies. Annually, the Rotary Foundation awards up to 130 fellowships—50 for master’s degrees and 80 for certificate programs—helping future leaders develop practical skills to promote peace, resolve conflicts, and contribute to positive change in their communities.

  • Host Countries: Australia, England, Japan, Sweden, USA, Türkiye, and Uganda
  • Fellowship Level: Master’s Degree & Certificate Program

  • Program Duration: 12, 15, or 24 months

  • Makerere University (Kampala, Uganda)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Nationality: Open to applicants from all countries.
  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Master’s Program: Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
    • Certificate Program: Minimum of 5 years of work experience.
  • Leadership Potential: Must demonstrate leadership skills and commitment to peace and development.
  • Academic Gap: A 3-year gap is required between the applicant’s last degree completion and the fellowship start date.
